Omezol 20mg Tablet is a medicine which lowers the amount of acid produced in your stomach. It helps in treating acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine such as heartburn, acid reflux, and peptic ulcer disease.
Omezol 20mg Tablet is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity caused due to long-term use of painkillers. It belongs to the class of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). This medicine should be taken preferably in the morning, one hour before meals. The dosage will depend on your underlying condition and your response to the medicine. You should continue taking it for the prescribed duration even if your symptoms get better quickly.
The most common side effects seen with this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, flatulence (gas formation), diarrhea (diarrhoea), and abdominal pain. Contraindications of Omezol 20 MG
