Disprin Tablet – Uses, Dosage, Side Effects

Disprin Tablet is a prescription medicine. The higher doses of this medicine are used to relieve pain, swelling, and fever. It also has anti-platelet properties (prevents blood clot formation), thus the lower doses of the medicine are used to treat or prevent heart attacks, strokes (decreased blood flow to your brain), and angina (heart-related chest pain).

Disprin Tablet works by stopping the production of chemical substances in your body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation (redness and swelling). It also prevents the formation of blood clots in your blood vessels. This lowers the chance of heart attack and stroke.

Disprin Tablet should not be taken if you are allergic to it. It is not recommended for use if you have bleeding disorders (disorders in which blood does not clot properly), NSAID-induced asthma (breathing problems associated with the use of a class of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), or peptic ulcers (sores in the lining of the stomach and intestine). Inform your doctor if you have any pre-existing liver, kidney, or other conditions. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding before taking this medicine.
