Each capsule of Ampilox 500 mg contains 250 mg ampicillin as Ampicillin trihydrate and 250 mg cloxacillin sodium.
Ampilox dosage
This dosage is for oral use only.
According to medication, the dosage should be taken in the following ways:
- For Adults: The recommended dose range is 1 to 2 gm every 6 hours or 3 times a day.
- For Child (2 to 12 years): The recommended dose range is 25 to 50 mg/day.
- For children below 2 years: (Neonatal oral drops) the recommended drops range is 0.6 ml of reconstituted suspension every 4 hours. Administer 0/5 to 1 hour before feeding.

Missed Dose of Ampilox Capsule
If you have ever missed a dose of Ampilox tablet takes it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
